Oceania 2001 - New Zealand - Thermal Areas

In the center of the north island around Taupo and Rotorua are the most active thermal areas. It is quiet fascinating to walk through this areas with a big variety of colors, shapes, and not to forget odours!



... we visited different areas: Orakei Korakao (also known as The Hidden Valley), Hell's gate, Wai-o-tapu (also known as Thermal Wonderland).
