At Las Vegas we found internet access for 5$ an hour (instead of 25 bucks at the hotel...) at the Whole Bean Coffee on Sahara Expressway one mile west of the strip.
After travelling through Death Valley NP we reached Las Vegas in the evening. It was really shocking, coming from the quiet, hot Death Valley NP into highlife of Sin City. You can't describe Las Vegas, you have to experience it yourself... but don't try to win your holiday expenses - by default you're the looser.
